GELPATCH - A dermal drug delivery vehicle possessing the advantages of a topically applied gel and a transdermal patch.

The GELPATCH technology was developed to provide a durable, reliable, and convenient topical drug delivery vehicle. The GELPATCH is designed as a fast-drying, non-irritating, and adhesive gel containing a drug for a dermal indication. Once applied to skin, the gel dries in 2-3 minutes to form an invisible film adhering to the skin or nail surface for 8-24 hours, and simultaneously, delivers the drug into the skin or nail by penetration. The GELPATCH technology is an excellent alternative or line-extension product to the convenient but short-acting topical formulations such as cream, ointment, lotion, etc., or to the effective but inconvenient-to-use patch or plaster.
