LIPSOL - Solubility Enhancement.

A unique lipid-based drug solubilization system (LIPSOL). is currently under development at LATITUDE. The LIPSOL system is being designed to provide maximum solublization power without the usage of any harmful ingredients such as hemolytic or allergenic detergents, harsh co-solvent, or other patent protected solublizing agents. The system combines a number of formulation options (lipid carrier, emulsion and inclusion complex etc.) and is intended to solubilize lipophilic drugs using only ingredients that are pharmaceutically acceptable.

Our company is currently exploring the application of these technologies to several existing drugs for improved therapeutic performance and for product lifespan extension.
